God damn it, thats a big gap. I can't wait to see this, Especially not when Mike Metzger is in it! I remember a film I saw on Extreme channel, when Mike was flipping over a fountain near a Casino. The impossible jump they called it |

I think he mean those on the 88 DH, not the 88 FR. Those are Avid Elixir. |

Well, I went down pretty hard this summer, on a jump in our slopestyle park. It was me and two friends who were about to hit some jumps in a train, we did it one time, and then we decided to do it again but this time it was my turn to go the big jump. I think the reason why I crashed is because I wasn't really focused on what I was doing, so I took way to much speed and overshooted it by like a half meter. I went down head first and ate dirt so hard I could see green stars twinkle in front of my eyes and I couldn't breath at all. When I was lying on the ground and thought I had recovered I was trying to stand up, but I felt a huge pain in the middle of my back. We called my dad and the drove me to the hospital were they did some blood samples and gave me pills and stuff. Two weeks after the crash they called me back and told me that I had 2 big cracks in my back. Well the result was no riding for 5 weeks. If I wouldn't have been wearing my full face I could have crushed my skull, and If I wouldn't have been wearing my back protection my back should have snapped in two places. Now here I am fully recovered after a few weeks and fully able to ride, but my bike is stolen. sucks! |
